As a 17 year old girl I should be proud of my body. I should feel confident when I step into the world and not have a care of what people think; but weighing 200lbs certainly prevents me doing all of this. Two weeks ago I order a little something called Insanity. In only one week it has showed me that change and goals are possible and by all means reachable. For the next 2 months I will be posting weekly photo's of myself and tell you how mentally and emotionally this dedication to being healthier is changing everything about me.
The Program: This over the top workout program called "Insanity" was put together by Shaun T with the help of Beach Body. It's a 60 day total body makeover program that includes 10 workout discs. The secret to having amazing results is something called "max interval training," instead of moderate bursts of energy as most programs deliver, Insanity is one huge continuous burst energy with short periods of rest.
Day #1: I honestly thought that my first day of Insanity was going to be hell...and that it was. IT was only a 30min fitness test and I had tremendous trouble with it.

This is a humiliating photo of me, but seeing this allows me to push harder then I ever would.
The Goal: I have a goal of wearing a size 11 in jeans and/or losing 20lbs in this 60 day program. I'm not asking to be a stick figure or to lose every ounce of fat in my body. I want to be healthy; I'm only 17 and I get winded going up a flight of stairs.
